Locations: 5th ave in Manhattan, New York
Role: Production Coordinator / Associate Producer / Stereoscopic 3D Animator
Responsibilities:
- Manage a group of design teams to ensure the production stays on time and within the budget
- Rig and animate the background characters and assets in Maya for the 3D dance party
- create custom creature animations (bugs, flowers, birds, etc) that utilize the "holographic" 3d stage space
- Work with story-boarders, sketch artists, graphic designers, and other creatives to turnkey the show
- Partner with independent choreographers and entities to manage the meeting/show logistics
- Analyze story-line, animations, & other individual departments to ensure brand fidelity is safeguarded
- Provide service and assistance problem solving to any individual or team that encounters issues
- Coordinate the transportation logistics for the delivery for scenic props, displays, equipment, etc
- Coordinate and manage onsite teams while designing innovative and creative ways to problem solve
- Function as a key team member to develop new groundbreaking features focusing on immersion & interaction
- Generate ideas to save money while staying within the context of Disney focused branding
- Create production calendars, schedules, call sheets, budgets, and other documentation related to the production
- Prep and manage inventory, invoices, budgets, deliveries, and other logistics issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key players and digital influencers
- Educate new recruits on 3D Live // AXO rules & regulations through proper demonstration and documentation
- Work with all immersive technologies and tweak ideas and creative concepts to improve visual dynamicsdescription of the project: 3D Live worked with Feld Entertainment and Universal Brand Development to create the ultimate 3D dance party finale for the new DreamWorks Trolls The Experience attraction in New York City. Kids and their families are now able to sing and dance alongside their favorite characters from the popular film and TV series. In addition to providing our “holographic” 3D LED hardware, we developed the 3D media content, which was designed to take maximum advantage of the display’s unique optical properties.
