description of the project: In partnership with California's Great America and Electronic Arts/BioWare, Mass Effect: New Earth utilizes the highest resolution "holographic" 3D LED screen in the world and 70 channel sound system to bring you a one of a kind thrill ride. Settle in and get comfortable as you’re transported to the distant lands of Terra Nova, experiencing all the sights, sounds, smells, and potential danger intergalactic space travel has to offer.  3D Live created a full turnkey solution for Cedar Fair.  From building the 3D LED screen, producing and scripting the ride movie, to designing the theater interior and pre- ride scenic, 3D Live was there from concept to construction of the ride.

Press:
"'Holographic' 3D LED Display (Innovative Technology) – Modular and versatile, this technology is a significant evolution in creating large-scale 3D presentations for themed and experiential venues. It solves many problems and limitations associated with projection-based 3D systems. The interface with live performers, VR and other immersive systems is seamless and powerful as demonstrated in the “Mass Effect: New Earth” attraction at California’s Great America."
